At the heart of the design is a featherweight tube of spun Carbon-Graphite, renown for its incredible strength and musical properties. The absence of a body allows unrestricted access to all positions up the fingerboard without any awkward changing of the arm position. A small upper bout is available for those who still like to have a physical cue for the start of the body.
The smoked-black Acrylic bout enables the Millennium to be used with shoulder rests and is also offered with a soft, non-slip pad for those who do not use a rest. The Barbera Multi-Transducer Bridge accurately captures all the subtlety and nuance of the interaction between the bow and strings. It boasts a powerful output and is fully compatible with all amplifiers, mixers and sound processing equipment.
The Millennium is 10% lighter than its' acoustic counterpart and is fully adaptable to the demands of the modern violinist.
