The Omega Electric Violin
|
The Omega Electric Violin is
an evolution of the traditional violin shape with the added advantage
of increased accessibility up the fingerboard.
The bodies are totally hollow
and weigh no more than an acoustic violin.
The tops are Select Spruce with
backs and necks of highly flamed Curly Maple.
Fingerboards, pegs, and chinrests
are of choice Ebony with Thomastik fine-tuning tailpieces.
The Barbera Multi-Transducer Bridge
System has been selected for its ability to accurately
reproduce every nuance of technique and tone. It is fully compatible
with effects processors, amplifiers, soundboards and PA’s.
|
 |
Both Electric Violin models are
identical except that the Omega 3 comes with upper
bouts to simulate the body position. They are designed to be used with
shoulder rests and come with a soft, non-slip pad for those who play
without a rest.
A highly recommended option is the
onboard EMG pre-amp which assures you of the best tone under all
conditions.
I truly believe that the Vector
Omega with a Vintage Sunburst is the finest looking and best
sounding electric violin on the market today, regardless of price.
